    Honda 185s valve lash??

Hi, I have a 1983 Honda 185s three wheeler. It has a little top end clatter in the engine. I was wondering if the rocker arms are adjustable, and if so how to adjust them. Thank you

Yeah, they're adjustable, not too hard either. You need some basic tools and a feeler guage. When I get home I'll post the instructions and specs for you. Buy a book cheapo! lol

    Ok dude,here it goes,
Engine cold, remove tank & spark plug.Take off the two valve inspection covers, and remove the timing mark cap (in front of recoil).rotate engine to the T mark aligns with the index mark on the crankcase. This should be top dead center. You'll know cause your rockers should have slack now,if they dont, rotate it another 180. Use your feeler guage and check the clearance between the rocker arm and the cam.Intake and exhaust should be 0.0002 in or 0.05mm.Adjust them so theres just a small bit of resistance on your guage.(yeah, the back one is a trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro). After they're tightened back up,rotate it 360,and check them again to make sure you got them right. Good luck, hope that cures it.
