A rim question for my 83-185S

I see in the mags that I can get rim/tire combos for my 3wheeler. I need new rims as the ones I have are original and rusted to all hell and back. What I need to know is this:
Will the bolt pattern match? The magazine add doesn't specify year/make/model.
How much difference is there between aluminum and steel? As far as weight and strength are conserned.

I'll be getting the carb back soon and if that fixes the running issues, I'll be in the market for tires/rims.

the bolt pattern for your stock hubs are 4/130
thats the pattern for the 1982-84 modle years of a 185-s. the 1981 185-s is 3/100.
4/130 bolt patterns were used on alot of honda trikes.
call dennis kirk ( www.denniskirk.com ) @ 1-800-328-9280 and ask they send you a catolog. in the tire section they have it all broke down as to what fit what.
( i ain't saying they are the best pricing ,,, just a good reference to have )

yea denniskirk has alot of wheel/tire combos..im goin to get some when i get some money..steel is a little bit heavier but stronger than aluminum and on a 185s it wont matter 2 much unless its a suspended 185..not very many were made so im guessin u got a non suspended so either or would be good for it..the steel ive found for mine are a little cheaper for some reason..cheaper+stronger= better deal go fo it and the tires it depends on what u are wanting
    trikes owned:
    85' 200m - sold
    84' 200x - sold
    83' 185s - sold
    82' 185s - sold
    85' 350x !!! - selling

I would opt for the aluminum. You'll shave about 15-18 pounds if you do all 3.And if you check the $,it's not that much more for what your getting. As for strength,if it's an issue,go for the .190, if not buy the cheaper .125. You can also consider an offset if you wish.
