    Steel-braided brake lines worth it?

I was going to replace both stock lines with steel lines but I'd like to know if I'll see a noticeable difference. Supposedly, the rubber lines swell but I can't feel any expansion when I hold the hose and squeeze the brakes. My front brake has always been a little spongy and I assumed that was because of hose swell. Anybody with first-hand experience?

I just recently put a rear disc brake kit on my Foreman which came with Stainless Steel braided brake lines with the kit. On the front is still the stock rubber lines going to the drum brakes. The difference is night and day. On the front...once the tires lock up...you can still squeeze the lever and it will feel "spongy." Now on the rear...the pedal feels MUCH firmer and more precise. I would say go for 'em! They are well worth the price and effort.
[20:55] <waterpumper> putting a racing pipe on a Foreman is like putting a high dollar bikini on a 400 pound chick...just because it fits doesn't mean it looks cool

    I just like the look

I bought the braided hoses just for the look. I do not notice the spongy feel so much now. Call James Lucky. The have the lines with a colored plastic on them so they will not scuff the bike.
I would rather have a sister in a whorehouse, than a brother with a quad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Still walking the "Tightrope"

I got a set of these off of ebay:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2488823746

Company called Streamline, and you definately need to let them know it's a TRIKE not a bike or quad, didn't notice a diff. in feel but boy do they look sweet.

I know they have a web site but damn if I can't find the URL......
