A couple years ago I found out the cases are slightly different. To use a ATC dif on a TRX you need to machine out a little of the case where the left side tube slides in. If your putting a TRX dif onto a ATC then you should be able to just bolt it up and go. I am not 100% sure if the gears are the same, but on the one I did ( ATC to a TRX ) it worked just fine.

Clay any idea what the gear ratio is on a trx 250?
1983 honda 70atc, als,ot done, need throttle cable and assembly. PM me if you have this.

85 percent restore. 10x10 douglas 190's 22-11-10 at 489's. 12x7 itp c series 24-8-12 swamp fox. some accent painting. snorkel everything and a custom PCV system. moose air filter. cobra utility exhaust. 2.5 um wheel spacers.
