    Questions about a 250R

What does it mean when you push down on your front forks and they dont rebound back? seals gone bad maybe?? And how long can mixed gas stay in your tank before it could cause fouling trouble. Lame questions i know, but id like to hear other peoples takes on it.. Thanks

Sounds like the springs maybe broken. they should rebound with out oil in they.
It's not the gas thats the problem. in a carb the gas evaps. and the oil gets sluggy and clogs jets. my chain saw sits all year. but thats a sealed system.
if you let it sit for months, drain the carb.

It usually means your fork tube is bent. As Dads said, They dont need seals or oil to rebound.
