Anyone race in 1985? District 15 (Ind)?

Just found this site recently and it has brought back a lot of memories. I raced a 200X in AMA District 15 (Indiana) in 1985 and 1986. Did any of you guys race in this area during that time? 1985 was probably the peak for 3-wheeler racing around here.

I do remember a picture of me playing basketball with Jimmy White outside of the Hoosier dome before a Mickey Thompson race. That was pretty cool.

sweet man.. definatly get some pics, and share some stories. I was only 8 in 85, but I was still "racing" at my grandma's house on her 90. Boy them farm dogs were sure in good shape after my visits.. hahaha.

I checked and my photo album must be at my parent's house. I was only 15 in 1985, so they were the one's taking the pictures. I'll try to get it sometime.

After the summer of 1986 we gave up on the 3-wheeler racing and sold everything and moved on. Only recently did I inherit a 250SX and my interest was sparked by this website.

If I remember correctly (it was 19 years ago!) my 1985 200X had a 12.5:1 piston, high rev cam, ported, white bros. pipe, 38 mm flat slide carb., wide axle, 2"? extended alum. swingarm, white bros. rear shock, steel braided brake lines.

In the summer of 1985 3-wheeler racing was really growing in Indiana. In March when many of us first began we were running fairly stock, and over the next year or so added the above mentioned mods. After all those mods. it was a screamer.
