Personally I would have gave him $410 for it if it would have been close enough. I am sure I could have made money on it.

I would have gave him 250 - 300 for it. I've also done a lot of work on the 250x/300ex motors though. If you do your own work and you know what your doing you can get some decent power out of them for not to much money. A strong 330X with reverse could be fun.
