I had that problem with my very first aircooled, turned out there was crud buildup in the mastercylinder and was not releasing the presure. I took it all apart and cleaned it up, worked great.

thanks blazer, ill try that, and for a comparison, of the r and my z, night and day, the r has good all around power, good low end, nice top end pull, kinda like ridding a stock 400ex, but the z (even my stock one, i wont even think about my powervalved one!)has more power acroos the board, easier to wheelie just shifting does that and the z has a much harder top end pull, does anyone know the hp. of these r's??im thinking 25hp, maybe

i love the 250sx. it is everything that i like in a bike. i like to ride mud and streams so the r just wasn't up to my riding preferences. the 250sx has the speed when i want it too. the r was just to peppy at the wrong times. i got those tires at the local wal-mart and if orange shee ever changes them out i would like to get them to put on my other bike. they work quite well with the riding i do.
glad to hear that you like the r , it was a fun buike
    see ya
