How would I find Honda part numbers and specs?

I asked a question about the interchangeability 85&86 ATC250R axle in the 85 swingarm and carrier and it was suggested that I compare part numbers and specs on the 2 axles SO.......who among you can tell me where to find such information on the internet. Thanks in advance for any and all who offer help.

    Part Numbers

The way that I do it is to go to Parts Fish (www.powersportspro.com) and add the two parts to my cart, then compare part numbers. There might be an easier way, not sure but this works for me.
    Hope this helps.

I can get stuff from partsfish for alot less. Had to fax off all the tax id and dealer info stuff to do it. Anyways, just ask and I can get it to you for less. I've sold some stuff on here to a few members already.

I had a chance to call http://www.chaparral-racing.com/ about the axle. They said that the 85 and 86 utilize the same axles. Part Number 42319-HA2-020 and the price is $502.00.
