exevators or mud lights for big red.

subject sums it up, would you guys get duro excavators or itp mudlights for a trail and mud machine?

the mud lights would be 25-12-9 and the excavators would be 25-13.5-9.

now that I have my scrambler, I'm going to make this one a clean mudder, trailrider, and hunter.

I would go with the mud lites. They are a new design and they would weigh less than an excavator. Mud lites all the way.

I'd go with the 25-12-9's ... My Yamahauler has 25-13-9's, and even though it's just an inch wider, those tires I can barely get the rear fenders on!

well the excavators come in 25-12-9 as well.

I figured the mud lights would be better because of there light weight. But the big red seems to have low enough gears to turn anything. lol.

I put 27in Mud Lites on my Prarie700. I know that this is not the same as 25s on a Big Red. My Prarie ride is ALOT ruffer. The Mud Lites ARE a true mud tire, expect them to ride lite it. You will loose alot of sidewall flex, the ride will not be 1/2 as nice as you are use to. I love the traction I have gained, they are a great mud tire, but not that nice of a trail tire.
I am not saying don't get them. I am just pointing out something I wish I would have known befor my purchase. I will be running mine for the winter and spring then getting back to a stock size agressive nobbieish (nice word LOL) tire.

    GOOD LUCK
