    87 250r trike?

    Looks like I may have found one but I need someone to break down this serial number to be sure.

    Was there anything all that different about them from an '86? Other than the different plastics they looked pretty much identical if I remember right. Haven't seen an image of one in many years though.

    One of my decal customers emailed me the other day wanting an 87 atc 250r model year decal. I told him sorry, I wouldn't make those without proof of vin. He emailed me back about 10 minutes later with that vin but I couldn't break it all the way down but knew the 6000 were used for 87 models. I have asked for pics of the bike and of the vin and will post them as soon as I get them. Also, this bike is located in Canada so if this one pans out we will know canada did in fact get some of these. Iv'e said before, my buddy used to ice race in canada and in 87 he saw one of these bikes up there, just across the michigan border. I have asked if he will sell what he has and am waiting on his reply. The bike is not complete from what I've gathered, its missing the motor and probably some other parts.
