200m and 200s are chain drive 200m has electric start,i think the 200e can be chain or shaft driven and i think the 200e has high low and reverse, the 200s is the most basic of all just a pull start and lights and that about all....i'm not 100%sure about the 200e tho i don't know much about those..
My dad has a 200es(corrected). It has Hi/Low reverse, electric start and shaft drive.

Honda 200e is not shaft drive, the latter 1984 model 200es was a shaft drive. The 200m has electric start but no reverse. The 200s is a pullstart and has no reverse either. All 3 machines are chain drive.

Correction it is a "200es". I am sure of it, because is does have shaft drive.
correction...the 84 models are "es" because they have shaft drive and the pre 84's are 200e

I think they are both kickstart though, which would interfer with the rear plastic.

The kicker shouldent interfere becasue those models models Howdy suggested are quads, quads have a forward kick like a trike also so i dont see how it would interfere with the fender assembly.

The 300ex is electric start but another option the 250x is a kick start.

yes and actually the 300ex engine is electric start. I doubt it will fit in a 200x frame (If thats what your wanting to do) since it is nearly the same size of a 350x engine. I'd consider one that Howdy left out, which is an 86-87 125m engine :-)
Yes, I left that one out because he wanted a 200cc or bigger. The 125m motor is pull start and with a few mods ( head & cam ) it will generate a noticable power gain ( verses a stock 125m motor ). I did this to our one machine ( "The Wrecker" ).Originally Posted by HondaATC
OldSchoolin is also right. I didn't even think of that one.
