I have heard both are good bikes. My cousin had a ttr 125 and he seemed to like it. I never got to ride it though. You might want to consider an older xr200. They are great bikes and tough as nails. Although it really depends on your size and skill level.

the crf is better...just because it is a honda but honda's will outlast anything. look at the comparison between how many trikes are left out there. there is probably more honda's left than all the other kinds put together

this is about the dumbest remark i have ever heard. yes hondas are great bikes but i own a TTR125 and it is just as tough as my dads CRF230. theres more honda trikes out there because more people bought them and they made more than anybody.

the L is what i ride its the bigwheel version of the regular 125. the LE/E are the electric start versions of the regular models. if you have exra cash i would go for the E start but its not a neccesity. check out the TTR forum on Thumpertalk.com definatly rejet if you get either bike they come way lean from the factory. if you get the CRF they have a forum for them too just dont do the so called Power Up kit that is talked about for the CRF.

I have ahd the chance to drive both and personally I feel that the Crf 150 is a better overall bike with more power then the TTR.

more power isnt every thing you need a bike that fits as well. i would have a 150 but it was way too tall when i was choosing a bike so i got the TTR which was my first choice anyway.

with your size i think a 150 would fit better. if you have a way to do it i would seriously look at a 230 though
