    honda 110 shifting trouble - missing gear

    I'm having trouble shifting the 1985 honda 110. It rarely goes into first gear on the first try and it is real hard shifting in all the gears. 95% of the time it misses the gear no matter what gear it's in. when it's in gear it runs great and doesn't slip out or anything. It's just when I shift to the next gear it misses. Any help?

    The 90, 110, & 125m motors are all basically the same design. This has been covered a few times so to save some typing check out these threads:
