do you think its worth it to power coat the cases too or will paint hold up if you sand em down or blast em?

It is worth it, but if its an old case, like on most 3 wheelers, its hard to get them clean enough. You can blast them, but oil has a tendency to soak into the aluminum, and may really screw up a good powder job. Paint always rubs off, but with powder, you can rub your boots on it all day long, and its not gonna come off.
