    I'm glad trike prices are going up. They have some value to the public now. I'm talking about the clean ones.

    the only reason they went up is because a couple lucky guys got big cash out of there machines, and every owner saw this, and thought "wow, im gonna sell mine now", and they put theres on ebay with that reserve price, and then the next people did that, etc etc etc.. thats why alot of them wont sell, because everyone wants way to much, they saw a couple go for big money and thats what they expect, the problem is, theres alot more smart buyers with a buget, then there is dumb buyers with a huge wallet <- why they dont get what they want out of it.
    Give me no lip and I tell you no lie.

    Hey you live in the same area as me, did you see that 350x go for 1700 during the summer? I called the guy about it and it sounded like it was in pretty good shape. I'm always checking the bargain finder for trikes, I find the Edmonton one has more trikes than the Calgary one.

    wow, you really have to see the Red Deer Advocates classifieds. There is a 1984 Suzuki 50 selling for $1,000, now thats overpriced. Oh, and I also seen that TRX250 for $7,000, but there have been many like it for around that same price. There was also an older modded raptor going for $10,000. See, that Is why I bought that Z from the states, because $650 + shipping was still less than the $2000 price tags on allmost every Z up here in Alberta. I also remember seeing a 110 with new plastics go for $1200.

    my one 250sx was $500. That I didn't think was a bad price for a 250 and my other one was about 3 times as much, $1300. But I can't complain the $1300 will pop wheelies anywhere anytime.

    It seems that ALL decent trikes (other than 250R's....they're pretty scarce) around here get advertised for $1000 or best offer.
    That's how I got my 350X: $1000 or best offer ad, waited out the seller for two weeks and got it for $700 cash.
    There were two trikes in the weekend paper: One 250SX for $1K OBO (I'm waiting him out, too ) and one 350X for $1K OBO (sold).

    For a shitty beat down one you'll spend 50-300 bucks. Cleans one shouldnt be sold cheap. Its like a well taken care of quad going for cheap,just because its 10 years old. I think condition would play a big role.

    Job=more money=better trike

    Also the buyers that dont get what they want out of there trike complete,they end up parting them out.

    There is a guy here in Arkansas trying to sell his 85-86 250r for $5000. I've watched his ads for well over a year now in the local paper.It's not even a mint bike.Got a lot of aftermarket stuff on it.
