What somebody wants for something in a paper, and what it will actually sell for are two different things. By the way, TRX250R prices have not gone up, but have instead tanked, big time.

What do you need sand dunes for? A trx250r is a great quad for tons of stuff. I see a lot of high dollar trx250r's too but either they have $8000 in chassi parts or they are just over priced and won't sell. TimSr is dead on here, since the new age of performance quads they aren't pulling what they used to.

250R's are awesome LOOKING and performing bikes....if a person can find one that hasn't been anhilated from years of abuse and neglect.

The new breed of hi-po quads is just plain revolutionary.
BUT.....for those of use who don't want to plunk down $6000, the trikes fit PERFECTLY.

Maybe the 250R's will be a bit more "hot" when the 2 stroke ban goes into effect 12/06?
That is...if there are any left worth saving by then?

yea i see that 350x piston...man i wish i had 1500$ right now i know someone whos selling a vary nice tri-z for only 1500$...i want it sooooo bad

I was supposed to be getting a 85 black and red Tri-Z from a guy down in Minnesota, but it's been four weeks and now the cops are taking care of it. So who is selling that one for $1500? As long as it is in Alberta I would be interested. That 86 Z in the link below, is in the town right next to me and I allready offered him a car for trade and he refused. He said he would only trade for a powerboat or something(which is a little greedyish if you ask me). Anyways, If I never get that Z from "Scott", then I will offer that guy with the 86, $1600 or if "my trike *****" gives me some info on the one for $1500, then I might look at that one also.

I kinda hate this boost in Trikes selling all over. I liked it better when Trikes where rare, and no one really wanted one. Now EVERYONE wants one, and now prices are going through the roof and the only place where I can buy a non-overpriced trike is down in Minni-fricking-sota.

the problem is, theres alot more smart buyers with a buget, then there is dumb buyers with a huge wallet <- why they dont get what they want out of it.

i bought my 250 sx for 900 bucks really nice unit.
i know where a 250r guy wants 1700 and its kinda ruff.
was looking for a 200x front end and came up with a running and a parts 200x for a grand

Penhold or Panoka, I can't remember. If I never get my Z from "scott", then I will certainly buy that one, its been for sale for about 4 months now and he lives about 20min away.

BTW, I call shotgun on the Z (thats if I never get the one from the A-hole down south...."scott" from minnesota...I mean.....hehe).

I had a guy from Verizon stop and ask me if it was for sale?I was out side cleaning it.I told him if he had $3000 he could have it.That is the only way i would ever get rid of it.The guy was really intertestred in buying it.He called me back.He said he would give me $2500.I said no.
