    i need some opinions

im definately in the market for a new trike, my 110 just isnt cutting it anymore. anyway im about 6'3" and weight about 150 lb. i was just wondering if you guys could point me in the direction of what trike would suit me. these are some of the conditions i ride in.

trails(mainly, but not tight twisting tracks, pretty much paths in the bush)
    some wide open feilds
    dunes
and definately have to cross some water.

anyway guys i want something that is considerably fast, full suspension, easy to maintain(and i dont mean that rules out 2 strokes) and is helluva alot of fun.

anyway thanks alot for your help.

    cheers, ned

a 200x would be a big step up from your 110, they are respectfully fast and you cant kill them either, my '86 has been rode hard and put away wet and has never let me down with nothing but routine maintnence

Due to your height, I would steer away from a 200x (even though they're great trikes). A 350x would probably be perfect for you. I'd seriously consider a 250R or Tri-Z as well but that might be a bit of a shock coming from a 110.

We ride the same conditions as you ..We like 'em twisting, muddy, straight and long, sandy, dirty, rocky whatever we dish out those trikes always rock!
keep the stock air lids on and they should do the water...

thanks guys. yea my freinds call me Donkey Kong when i ride the 110. i have ridden bigger quads and bikes as well, so the extra power wont frighten me. there plenty of tri z's near me and ive got atcmatt searching on the east coast of australia for some nice trikes. anyway keep the suggestions coming, and woodstock, thats exactly how i ride...i dont stick to one style, i just ride watevas around.

    Thumbs up

6'2" here and I HIGHLY recommend the 350X.
It fits me to a tee and I'm NEVER fatigued after a day of riding.
Plenty of power to pull you around and make the ride VERY enjoyable.
SUPER easy to start/operate/maintain as well.

A 250R is nothing to sneeze at, either.
But finding one that hasn't been raced/beaten to death could be a problem.
And they're a little "high strung" compared to the X.

Thats the understatement of the year. Don't rule out the old YTM225DX Tri-moto or ATC250SX's - They are great machines, hard to kill, decent performers, full suspensions.

I agree with the above so much that if I was to ever get a 2nd trike, it would be one of these two. The 350x was basicly the "overkill" version of these two trikes and it had way too much vibration type factor for me. These other trikes are some of the smoothest operating ever built and still have plenty of lowend torque to pull off anything I'd want to do. Simply put they are the "classics" of the late model, non race'n, trikes!

Any adult trike would be a major improvement. I would suggest seeing what is most common, and easiest to get parts for in your area.
