    Rc Trike???

I can get a hold of an old 250r air cooled rc trike. It is made by Kyosho, but the guy says it has no "radio gear". Im guessing he means it will need a receiver, and a hand control?

Has anyone had one of these? I know there were a few diffrent brands made, but i think kyosho woulde the best cause its top of the line rc stuff. I think im going to get it, even if i cant get it to work, still good memrobilia.

    Can anyone help me???

    Thanks,

    Matt

Yes I have like 5 of them and they are pretty cool to play with. As far as the controler, you will only need to find one with the same frequency as the unit. Then it should work fine. I will have to get a pic of all of them together..........peace

The kyosho rc trike is very different than the dustrunners, in that it is like the ones made by cox, and like hagen's old one from germany that I have. They are made with removeable motors/servos/receivers etc much like the kyosho or tamiya cars would be, and therefore are able to be upgraded/repaired if they break much easier. It is a much higher quality unit, with metal forks, higher detail etc.

Yeah I got the Dustrunner. If you look in ScottZJ's picture you'll see it in there. I didn't even know they made a nicer one. That's pretty cool.

when he says it needs radio gear you'll need a reciever transmitter and servos posibly a speed control depending on what he includes.

Yeah I am sure that is the one he is refering to. They were mainly made over seas. I think Willie got his from Germany too. I have been watching that one lol to add to my collection.
The one on top of the box is a matchbox one and they are on ebay everyonce in awhile. Just watch out for them and you might find one..........peace

don't be bad mouthin the oldschool brands, if it wasnt for brands like kyosho, tamiya, and ta, you wouldnt have any of these new cars to kick around (hpi, traxxas, etc etc.)
