    Cool New Truck

We just picked up a brand new 04 F150! its an extended cab XL in oxford white. Dad says he got tired of working on the old truck all the time and since Ford has a 0% finance thing going on he decided to get one. Its a basic work truck rubber mats instead of carpet plain steel wheels no slider rear window. It does have the 5.4 in it though. He says he has no plans other than a spray in bed liner but hes already talked about how easily he could drop the back end down to make it look better. i see at least an intake in its future.

Not trying to start any BS here, but what is the obsession with you Americans and big "trucks". It seems like you all drive big chev's and F-series fords. Down here in Aus we drive "utes", ranging from earlier holden v8's 2x4's to the newer 100 series Toyota Landcruisers and Hilux 4x4's.

I hear ya Ned. Them old V8 1 tonners sure suck alot of fuel also. Gas conversions are the only way to go. The old 253 engines are guzzlers, can image what a 308 or 350 Chev would be like! What are fuel prices in America like anyway???

1 GALLON is close to 4 LITRES. So you guys are getting it about 50% cheaper than us. We pay about $1.00 a litre give or take a few cents from varying petrol stations. Sounds like Canada is uses the same metric system as us. I was jus ttalkign to Renotrikeguy, Chris, about house prices also. You guys have it all figured out ill tell ya what. Everything is so much cheaper up there, trikes included!!!

Fuel prices fluctuate between 80 cents and 93 cents a liter here in B.C.
I cross into the states quite often and get it for 70 cents a liter.
I recently stepped up to a 95 F-250 4x4, 351 auto. from a well used 350 powered 62 Impala. Reason being is that I need the vehicle for the box space and towing capacity for when we head to our cabin and that I simply need a larger vehicle. I don't squeeze into todays "big" cars, so it's a real truck for me!
