That will not work at all. You are dealing with 2 completly different types of engines.
    Trikes: Cagiva 200, 85? Tiger 250,(2)84 200x's , (3)86 200x's, 87 200x, (5)85 350x's, (2)86 350x's, (2)85 250r's, 86 Tecate, (3) 85 250sx's Restoring: 83 200x, 86 250sx. Too many utility trikes to list.

The water pump is in the lower end of the engine. Won't work.

even if it did it would never run.if you want water cooled just buy the whole 86 motor.but you will have to change the rear end also due to the sproket location.

I've been playing with a water cooled head I found, suposedly heat causes the water to flow through the radiator witch I also have that bolts to the trees. My problem is the head has holes that are to big so I need some type of shouldered bolt or somthing to center the head. ..... I'm looking for ideas myself.

    To All That Oppose Me!!@!

did you have to make a spacer or mill out some of the cylinder to make the correct piston height? I am still waiting for it to come in the mail. I have had so much negativity on here, I am now determined to make a hybrid!!! IT WILL RUN!!! DO YOU HERE ME PEOPLE IT WILL LIVE AGAIN!!! BE AFRAID!!

Buddy if you get an Idea run with it. Back When I used to build Drag bikes I was laughed at when I started trying to put a GSXR head on a GS 1100 motor. With a little time, money, cussing and head scratching + 100 people that said that it would not work, I had it going. That thing was awsome. Next thing you know I was doing conversions for a large number of the guys I raced with and against. I owned a bike shop at the time and my couldn't do project made me about $6000 that year. Don't be afraid to try anything. Good Luck and keep us posted.

Well this head I'm messing with is a bolt on for this motor but I hear they only made it for a couple of years, I seen another one (but different style) on ebay it sold for over a hundred without a radiator.
