I killed me a big 'un!
Just thought I'd share a bit of hunting glory with you guys. I killed a 200+ lb wild hog last night, and they're hard to get where we hunt. I'm one of about 3 that's gotten one since we've been hunting there 20+ years, and I think mine is the biggest. Shot her during the evening hunt and dropped her where she stood. But I was in such a hurry to shoot I didn't think about the fact that I was hunting with my grandfather's 7mm Mag and that booger popped me a good one because I wasn't holding it quite right. But I don't care I got me some pork ribs comin soon. And to top it all off, I saw a buck that's quickly becoming legendary, it's a huge wall hanger that's only been seen by three people, and I stalked up on it but couldn't get a shot off. I swear that thing is magical. But he'll be there next year, and a great first real season for me all in all.
It ain't no fun unless you kin git hurt doin it.
