So.. after calling all over town,, i finally located a clymer manual for my big red. gonna cost me 40 $, but damit i'll have it. . . . .

how usefull will this be compared to a Honda Factory Manual ?

    or a haynes ?

are they all fairly similar or worlds apart ?

The honda manual is the best in my book. Has lots of pics and detail. But if the clymer is all you can find, it will do.

I like the Clymer manuals. They are almost as good as a factory manual but because there are a few models covered in the one book it is easier to compare parts differences. I have not been impressed by the haynes manuals but it is better then nothing. A repair manual is the best aftermarket part you can buy.

I've got a honda factory manual for 1981-83 big red, 200, 200s, 185, and 185s. The funny thing is though that the main dealer in my town has lots of trike manuals up with all the manuals for quads and bikes. Their website is www.blackfootonline.com the place is called blackfoot motorsports, SWEET shop, if you go to the downloads section of the site there are some cool and funny videos!
