What would be the best aftermarket exhaust sytem for a 350X?
I was thinking about a Cobra Jet system or maybe a DG stage 3 Xcellerator, but the DG is pretty high. I like them loud also so any feedback is appreciated.

i have a super trapp and i like it alot. it is very loud around 106db at 3500rpms, it has the closed end and only has 7 disks in??? probably doesnt have the packing inside but i like it loud so ya!! hope this helps BigTbones
dude the disks in make it louder. it shatters the sound. super trapps sound very nice.
yeah I know. I only have just 7 disks on it now. Don't get me wrong it sounds nice but I don't consider it super loud like a Cobra or DG. The trapp has a nice throaty crackle sound when you rev it. Ohhhh I wanna go ride right now![]()

I have a cobra, and its f'ing junk!! Go with the supertrapp, but keep in mind, you wil have to keep your stock headpipe and use the supert silencer.
Yeah what is the deal? Is there no aftermarket headpipe that you can match up to the Trapp?

No need for a head pipe, the Supertrapp slip on puts out more hp than any full exhast you can buy.

Perfection consists not in doing extraordinary things, but in doing ordinary things extraordinarily well.
You can buy DG RCM exhausts for the 350X and they dont cost near as much as a Stage 3 and they are loud and give you quiet a power hit.
I hear on the trapps that you don't get any power gains till you run 13 to 18 rings and up your main jet a little. In fact on the manual for mine it says running 4 to 6 rings is is the same power and airflow as stock. Better get some rings.

I've got the DG chrome headpipe (larger than stock) attached to a Supertrapp. The slip joint on the oversize headpipe is still the same size as stock, so no mods were necessary.
Any pansy can ride a quad!
