110 cylineder stud problem

all right when i was taking off the cylinder head cover the right stud (while sitting on the atc) came off while i was taking off the bolt. itried putting it back on but my lock pliers kept slipping any specile tools or technices to put the stud back on

use a cuple of nuts butted up agints each other like tightend aginst each other and then use tem to thred it back on
