    Talking Cops give back my 3 wheeler

    Last month I took my 83 big red to the state patrol to get it inspected so I could get an ORV permit. Turns out the VIN had been partly grinded off so they confiscated it until they can figure out what the VIN was. I posted a thread on it and your response was to keep calling the state patrol. Well I took your advice and it worked. This Monday they called me and said it was ready to be picked up. They gave me a new VIN. I got the ORV permit and now I can take it elk hunting this weekend. Thanks for your help

    i am glad down here in louisiana they arent so strict. i would have got my 110 confiscated long ago. they would have to fight me for it though.

    Yeah we dont have anything like that down here in Texas that I know of. About the only time that you can get your machine confiscated is if you run from the cops and get caught or hunt when you are not supposed to
