    Champion spark plugs are crap

Champion spark plugs are crap. I will never use them ever again for auto or ATV's and do not recommend them to anyone.
I replaced plug because it has been 3 years since i have. I figured it was time.
Had no problems. plug looked toasty and worn so "what the heck. a spark plug is a spark plug, right?" WRONG
I went to auto parts store and did not have my usual NGK brand I use. I have had good performance out of denso plugs but did not have those either.
So I have to choose the dreaded champion brand.
My trike used to start first pull. Now, I have to use choke every time.
Seems like a weaker spark also and gap is spec. Seems there is some power loss too. Champion plugs are POS and learned this 25 years ago, but here I am, glutton for punishment. American plug in a jap bike. Not the best choice.
DO NOT USE CHAMPION PLUGS IN ANYTHING!

They are better than AC plugs though. I have seen 3 AC sparkplugs have the insulator shoot out of the threads. I will never use AC's ever again.

I can relate to that crackshot, i tryed out the champions too because it was time for a change being one plug for the past 4 or 5 years. Place only had champion, so i said whatever, bought it.

The machine didnt want to run worth a damn. It sputtered and bogged. Same result with both plugs. Through in the old NGK and she was revitalized

    Crap Crap Craap

Champion spark plugs are the only thing I will ever use again. NGK's have failed on me three times. One was brand new from hyperparts and lasted 3/4 of an horr.

Like god led me to WalMart in the automotive section what do I find but a Champion spark plug for my 200s. It is awesome. Have two spares I expect to never them for years.

i agree. my friend has a little go kart with a 3.5 briggs, an extremely reliable engine. it had an old plug (probably the original one in a cart that was 4 or 5 years old) it started running bad so we went to the store and grabed a plug and of course all they had was champion. gapped it correctly and it was the right plug and it wouldnt start. three people took turns pulling and pulling and not even a pop. put a diffrent plug in it that he found laying around his shop and it fired right up.
