I bought 5 or 6 N3C Champions about 11 years ago when I had a plug fouling problem because the autoparts store was around the corner and they were about 1/2 the price of the bike shop, 10 miles away. There is not a dimes worth of difference between a Champion and an NGK. Most problems are due to improper cross referencing, and they dont match exactly. (The N3C is like halfway between a B7ES and a B8ES. Thats not what the book says. Its a conclusion I came to.) Of those Champions I bought, I still use 2 two of them. They have been cleaned and recleaned (blasted) countless times. The other ones were lost on the trails over the years. I just threw one away, because the wrench angles had been rounded off from improper tools on an emergency trail repair.
I use them interchageably, and cant tell the difference without reading the label.

Either you've had some great luck or I've had some horrible luck because my NGKs always last longer then any champion I've ran. My case is not due to improper referencing either but I bet it happens.

Nothing but NGK...the only brand I trust. I'm pretty sure all my machines have NGK, but If I ever see a Champion plug, its going in the lake.

That's the truth. The champion plugs do **** bad. I'm always having problems with them on my 84 200x. And for that matter my 110's don't like them either. Next plugs I buy will NOT be champion.

would you put AC plugs in a Ford? No, you would put AC plugs in a Chevy and Qutolite plugs in a Ford. Why? Because the factory specs them and actually use them in development.
Why would you put an american plug in a jap bike? If you go to the specifications page on this site, they list 2 types of plugs for the honda 185s. NGK and Denso.
    Jap plug, Jap bike.
My stator is fine. Did not have ANY problems at all until I put in a CHUMPION plug.
If I do have stator problems now, I would have to thank CHUMPION spark plugs for that!

Champion Plugs all the way. I am a stocking dealer for Champion plugs. I use them in every Aircraft engine that I build. No other plug lasts like the Champ. They hold up better under extreme cylinder pressure (12:1 compression). They are also the only plug that will not lead foul. They are also cadium plated to prevent rusting. AV/Gas is a low lead fuel and a NGK plug will not burn the lead. I run AV/Gas in my 250R and have replaced many perfect looking NGK plugs. I always used NGK plugs until I went to Wal Mart and bought the Champions. I have not lead fouled a plug since. So I looked in my Champion book and ordered a dozen. You need a hot stator to fire a good plug....champion.
I would rather have a sister in a whorehouse, than a brother with a quad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Still walking the "Tightrope"
