Wiesco Piston install

I am putting in a Wiesco piston in my 86 Tri-Z top end when it gets back from the shop. My Wiesco piston that I bought has 2 cutouts on it with an arrow on top of the piston engraved in it pointing outward. Well my question.

When you install the Wiesco piston, did you have the arrow on top of the piston pointing to the front or rear? Or did you have the holes (2 cutouts on piston wall) on the piston pointed to the front or rear?

Arrow goes in the direction of flow.

or in other words...the arrow points to the front of the bike..
