    need measurements

    hey fellas,
I have a 200s that has a partially rusty frame, Im thinking of making it a suspension frame. Ive searched on the topic for the last couple days and it sure looks possible. What Im asking for is measurements on a 2oox swingarm. Im looking for the width of the swingarm at the point where it pivots. also Im looking for the measurement from the front pivot point to the center of the rear axle. Sorry if im confusing, Im just not sure of the proper terms. Also if someone would be so kind as to take a few pictures, Im trying to figure out how far up or down from the center of the engine sprocket the actual pivot point is.Could someone take closeup picks of the sprocket side of the swingarm, frame area for me? Anyone understand what Im asking? Thanks, Dave

hey, if you're going to use a 200x swingarm, why not use a 200x frame??
    one cylinder is not enough!!

    heya Rob,
thats pretty much the same thing Im figuring..something to keep busy during the winter. I have the frame an such, plus my own welder and cutting equipment , machine shop friends and so on,so the cost should pretty much be low. Im thinking of building my own swingarm, using the carrier and mount from the 200. I think the hardest part is figuring the pivot location on the frame( like how far up or down from the center line of the drive sprocket), as I dont have access to an actual suspension trike to see and measure...should be fun!!! BTW, keep me posted on any ideas and pictures if possible...Dave

maybe we should do a write up/ progress thread with pics????
