mikuni flat slide carb on mod 200x?

My 200x is modded out pretty good but I still have the stock carb on it, Ronnies mail order sells a 28mm mikuni flat slide carb with a wirlpool twist throttle for around 250.00 bonesI was just curious if it would help me out alot or not. Has anyone else done this? If so please inform me. It also comes with a K&N clamp on filter.

    thanx,

For $250 I could buy a whole 83/84 bike, man!

I highly recommend trying to fit a TRX250X or TRX300EX one on there. A little grinding (i assume) and a custom manifold. Wont run over $100.

Actually youve given me a great idea for trikeriders.com webstore.....Thank you.

the 250x carb on a 85 200x will not fit without cutting the frame. there is just no room for it, the carb is way bigger then the stock. I am putting the 250x carb in my 200x right now. I have the carb on now to where i think it will work, but i have not welded up the frame. I got the carb for free so that is why i using that carb, and it has a accelerator pump. i would just use a 28mm carb.
