will any parts off a 86 250r fit on a 85 350x??? I have a buddy that is parting a 250r everything but the motor and its all in near mint condition. Anyways i wanted to buy the seat and front fender off him for my 350x and was wondering if they will fit??? any help would be great!!! Thanks

Is he a member? There's a couple of small, somewhat obscure parts I want for my R. (rear brake hub, rear sprocket hub and the rear axle nut as long as there's not a drop of rust on them).

no pictures and not a member either but i will ask him and see what he says! IN fact i will see if he will sign up to the board and talk to u guys instead of running through me! From what I do know about it, it was a drag bike!!! well taken care of. he had a polhonda motor in it and nothing would touch it. Everything is near mint condtion with not a spec of rust ANYWHERE!!!!!

he also has all of the stock parts too Pipe, swinger, airbox, carb etc.
he had a +12 over swinger on it nad a drag pipe

Does he live nearby you? I'd just bring the 350x over there and try the things you want. The only part I've ever noticed anyone swapping was the headlights. Honda did have a habit of using the same front fender bolt pattern on alot of their sport trikes so I'd be kind of surprised if the front fender didn't fit but I don't recall ever seeing anyone do that.
Stock parts are all I need. They just have to be rust free (and realisticly priced).

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the seats and front fender are NOT interchangeable between 250R's and 350X's. The 350X seat is longer and the front fender bolts are narrow on a 350X and there's a 'groove' where the other bolt pattern on the tree would line up. Sorry.
