    tri-z water pump seal

I am going to be changing out the water pump seal. Before I start on the job, do I need to remove the whole side of the crank case? Or just remove the water pump housing and pull the impeller? If so, I would probably need a new gasket and where should I just purchase that gasket by itself? Thanks again.

You have to remove the clutch cover as well as the kick-start assembly.
I couldn't tell you where to get the gaskets. I just used high temp silicone on mine.

P.S. there is a bolt behind the kick-start assembly to remove the clutch cover.
