    Old fast sleds

I heard that old fast sleds were becoming very collectable, the ones like a Blizzard or something, does any body have anything about these or have one?

I have an old sled, it ain't a blizzard but its a good old machine...and it is in no way slow!

198? 400 Ski-Doo Citation...I love that machine...it has been through alot of years, alot of snow, alot of "Push it until you go fast enough", alot of jumps, alot of....well, lets just say its old and well used, but still runs like a charm.

Allmost forgot, if you prime it twice before you pull it over, it is a definate *1 pull start*...amazing eh? No kidding.

I have a friend with 2 blizzards, there those Ski-doo's with the Big flat yellow noses right?

i have a fast old snowmobile, a 1980 Yamaha Enticer 300. It used to be my dad's and he said that he used to go riding with his friend who had a 340cc and the 300cc could beat it off the line, and in the 1/4 mile. When i was a bit younger, me and my brother rode beside our friend who had a speedometer and he said we were going 65 mph with 2 of us on there!

http://www.vintagesnowmobiles.50megs...ette_Page.html I think This is what my buddy had "back in the day" It WAS the FASTEST thing around. Kicked all the Arctic Cat Paneras and the Exciters and everything else. Not sure if his was the same year, but it was 100% sure an Alouette 440.

One of the sickest looking Snowmobiles ever...

...and mine is a Ski-doo Citation SS 400, very similar to this. Last year It had the unfortunate event of the ski-doo landing wierd after jumping up/off the side of a dugout(it was a verticle drop), and busted up the track pretty bad...along eith the drive gear, which the bearings were completely gone on one side(I now know what that noise was, couldn't find the source before)...so the ockward landing + no drive sprocket bushing = something really trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro up.

And my first ski-doo was a Ski-doo TNT Citation 300, just like this...(the one in the front)...one day it just blew up

That 300 we got off my great uncle inlaw, and it was jacked up...so the *** end was about 6" higher off the ground than stock...it now rests in Snowmobile heaven (seriously, "my trike sucks" might know that place).

Anyways, sorry for Hi-jacking your thread
