well i picked up a yamaha 225dr today for 20 bucks.it needs some parts mostly bolts and 4 studs.i wanted to know if it is even worth fixing .im mostly a honda person so i dont want to spend very much money on it. i might just sit it out by the road for 25 bucks.

I think they are a good trike. I have only had the DX's but would imagine the reverse would only make it better. They are a capable machine. Probably worth fixing, expecially if it doesn't need too much.
Anyone know of a new project machine for me around Wisconsin?

Needs some bolts and studs, and your worried about putting to much money in it? bolts and studs are cheap at any hardware store, I had fun on my old 225DX, Why did you even buy it if you don't want it?

my moms boyfriend told me about it he didnt tell me the motor was apart and missing a buch of little parts.the way he made it sound was it just needed rings until he brought to my house in pieces.i can try and take pictures of it if my batteris dont die first.

it aint worth nothin, ILL TAKE THE REAR AND THE TANK PLASTIC! MUHAHAHAHAHAH if ya wanted to keep it, go for it, if not, and ya DO want to part it out, like i said before, ill take the rear, the tank plastic, and the recoil starter..
