as far as I know,the stock carb on the 350x is 34mm(i do know that)the 300ex carb is smaller at 32mm so It would be a loss.I have heard of people going with a 400ex carb and they are suppose to make a noticeable power gain since they have a accelator pump built into them.Check out www.powroll.com they have 350x carbs...
