If he's riding in PA, you better believe it's a hill. Some of the best trails i've ever ridden over there.

I hate how pictures never show angles good.

The name of that hill is "Crippler" I didnt have my foot down for nuthin'. Nasty *** ruts and massive roots. Every time it rains the hill changes. It's not as bad as the name implies, but I know of a handful of people that have gone down on their backs...including Speedbumps wife (she wasnt holding on too well)

Looks to me like the only thing that is being climbed is that 3 weeler. Kinda like when I rolled mine over trying to get out of a washout sideways. (no, my bro did not take a picture while I was under the trike. He didn't get off to help me either.) If you want to show the steepness try getting a shot from the side with the camera level with the horizon. I think that would give some perspective of the steepness right away. That trail looks pretty level compared to the tree angles though.

It really was not that bad...I wasnt bragging about the monster hill I climbed. I try not to climb any BIG hills because if I roll it, I can't afford to fix it back to the way it is right now. It's too nice and I'm too poor.

Judging from the amount of Rhotodendrons - I'd say he's somewhere in the Pocanos!. Thats Pa. ridin if I ever saw it. All this "its not that steep" and "hes level" nonsense debating needs to stop - you all wish you could be the subject of the picture, enjoying yourselves like he is. The post was "Hillclimb pic" not "Hey, check out this pic, then critique me over how steep the hillclimb really is".

Its extremely diffcult to show a hill grade in a photo. I have found that the only way you can really capture it is to photograph from the top of a diffent hill across from the one being climbed. Not easy in the woods. The pictures of Devils Backbone at Haspin make it look pretty lame, but I didnt see all that much travel on it.
This is an excellent action photo that really captures trail riding, especially with the rider having to work it! This is riding. A guy holding the throttle wide open through a flat parking lot doesnt impress me much.
