Well, I have an 81 atc 200 and the head light doesn't work. I finally got around to looking at it and after a good while with a meter and the wiring diagram in the clymer manual I think I narrowed it down to a bad generator coil. If I understand it right there are two coils? One ignition coil, and one that powers the lights? If so, how do I go about replacing it, and is it expensive? If I missed some crucial piece of info please keep in mind I'm running a nice fever and am not myself.
