Replaced my 250R's DG with an ESR.. WOW!

Well I ordered my ESR ATC-5 for my 1985 250R like 3 weeks ago and just got it. They apparently had to make it. When I bought my 250R it had a full DG system on it. I'm still using the DG silencer but I replaced the pipe with an ESR. I'm not gonna say the ESR is twice as fat but it is WAY bigger.
It made an incredible difference in power. Biggest difference from just exhaust I've ever seen. Sounds a little different too. It's kinda hard to control on pavement, way harder to keep the front down in the lower gears. I really like and would recommend it to anyone. They're negotiable on the price too, just ask them to sell it for less. I'll see if I can get a picture, it's a super nice all original R too. Oh yeah, the chrome looks tons better than a black pipe too.

We actually ordered 2 at one time. An ATC-5 for me and a TRX-5 for my buddy. They list for $239 each. They sold them to use for $199 each plus shipping. At first they said $219 each but dropped the even more because it took so long to get the ATC pipe, the TRX pipe came right away. I'm not sure if I should put the DG on ebay or hang onto it incase I come up with another R that has a stock pipe. My buddy will be selling his old pipe though. ESR TRX-6, low end pipe.

They sure know how to make an impressive advertisement!!

ESR tends to have a 2+ page ad in the ATV mags.
WHEW! The colors and pictures alone make me want to whip out the old credit card and spend!!

A shop here in town says they're impressed with them, too.

Sounds like a winner all around.

It's nice to have an alternative to the old standards; meaning FMF, DG, etc..

I think your buddy will be disappointed going from a TRX-6 to a TRX-5. They are both good pipes but the TRX250R biggest flaw in the power band is in the bottom. ESR makes super quality products.
