Thats the tire the pros use. I use them on a 8x8 rim. For best results angle your studs like in the pic. Think of a studded tire as you would a paddle tire, now run them the opposite way you would a paddle tire, this will give you the best traction. If you want to get really technical, line all the studs up in the same direction, also know as tuning your tires.
Are those just normal sheet metal screws you used on those? How long are they?

No, they are kold kutters, ice racing screws, 5/8" long, you can find them on ebay or your local atv dealer. If you try using sheet metal screws you will be left in the "ice shavings"Originally Posted by atc110
