Talking That X had better be museum quality for $2600.....

I love my X to death but I didn't get into it for the investment potential.
I think the seller has been sniffing too much Ebay.

I hate to say it but if he wants THAT much for the X, he has to see the '86 R as his "retirement fund".

BUT.....offer him $1500 and see what he says.
I'm SURE he'll divulge "want he wants to get for it" when you say that....or chase you away with a stick!

    Good luck!

well.... I know how you feel.. he probably doesn't want to rid himself of the X... so give a high price. To me, the Showgirl is priceless... though I did get some similar offers for it in the past.

Smile I doubt the one for sale is as nice as Clay's or Bruce's....

    Maybe it is?
But I just can't see someone going to such lengths as Clay and Bruce did to resto one.
You guys have two SWEET X's.
Those two make mine look like an old beater.

I wouldn't turn loose of MINE for less than $1500.
Just because of how solid it is, the reliability, NO cost of ownership and what a nightmare it'd be to find another!!
