86 250R top tripple clamp, can you strip the paint?

I want my top tripple clamp to look like the bottom tripple clamp on my R. How do you strip the black paint off and will it look like the bottom clamp? What is the technique io do this? Is it that simple? Will you have to keep polishing it?

Remove the clamp and use a good quality paint stripper or sand blast it. To polish it use Mother's Aluminum polish and a lot of elbow grease.

If your going to blast it use glass or aluminum oxide, its alot easyer to finish with these two. Walnut shell would be the best way to blast but not alot of people have access to that. You could also swap someone that has a 85 top clamp then theres no work involved to get them to match. I think I have a couple extra 85 top clamps if you want to go that way.
