just got one for free. its got a diff can colled motor in it tho like a 500 or somthing. it started right up second pull and hasnt been ran in 2 years. im getting the other 2 on christmas for free. the other one is an old one with a mx suspension and i dont no about the other. if my damn camra card would load up i would post pics. its in ok shape for its age.

Cool sleds, the 5500 Blizzard has a 503 ?Rotax? twin in it, nice sled and plenty fast. Heavy as a son of a gun though, my bud's old man had one and we had it stuck in wet snow plenty.

The blizzard 5500 had the 503 fan cooled twin. I have the 82 mx model, the first skidoo with independant front suspension (and I believe the first mass produced ifs sled). Pretty good sleds in my opinion. The 503 gets mine going up to top speed (80-85 on a good day) fairly quickly. Mines kinda heavy, but it runs around okay. Sucks in powder, really badly (better track and more power would help). Good at jumping with that suspension, though...Great hardpack sled.
