is there anyway to seperate the inner and outer tubes? If so how do you do it? Is it that hex bolt on the bottom? they are 84/85 t3 forks.

that's how you take apart 200x - 350x front forks apart for a rebuild. i would think most all forks are put together somewhat the same ( of course there are some really weird older suspensions out there ).
