    200x

My uncle bought a 85 200X back in 1989 for 500.00 and basicly gave it to me 4years later. I rode it till I was 18 then traded it for a 84 VF750 Intercepter in mint condition. It was worth about 2600.00.

    I payed $1.50 for the 200s I'm riding now.

The guy wasn't a mensa member thats for sure, he took the pull start apart, couldnt put it back together, and lost a spring, and I think he lost parts for the automatic compression release as well. It needed rear tires and the front was a bit scary, my friend had a set of gold R rims with hubs, and an old set of tires laying around, while he swapped them I took the carb off and cleaned it up, pop started it with in 30 minutes of having it, after we found it it ran and ran good I put the pull start back on properly.

I hope he doens't want his rims back, im kinda attached to the way it looks, I don't think I could go back to the stock rims now, lol.

I'll have to borrow my old ladies camera and take pictures of my hunk-o-junk.

I bought my son ''a like brand new" 85 ATC 70 5 years ago for $600. He outgrew it and I sold it on ebay for $1125 a few months ago. What a deal!

Not a 3 wheeler but I was given an 84 Honda VF 500 Interceptor few years back that "didn't run and needed major work". Yeah right, 1 new battery and a few gallons of gas and it fired right up and ran like a champ. Another great deal!

I got my 83 atc 185 for free. My grandfather had bought new it for my niece, she rode it twice in 83, and it sat ever since in his barn until 2003. He knows I am a 3 wheeler geek, so he gave it to me.

Original everything (even the tires)--sat for 21 years under a tarp in a barn and in 2003, only an oil change, carb rebuild, and gas tank cleaning, and she fired on the second pull.

One thing I do notice, is that 3 wheelers today seem to be increasing in value, running or not. Almost like they aren't made anymore or something

Definatly, I bought what I have now for $150, people have asked to buy it, I wont let it go for less than $1000, and it's a beater upper, I'm guilty of price hiking as well, but I love my beater:P

Got 2 110's for $50. All I had to do was turn the ignition rotor 180 degrees and it started on the first pull in a couple of years. Immediately took it apart completely. Disassembled the frame completely, sandblasted, and painted everything. I put a fresh bored cylinder and piston in and took the head apart and freshened it up. Now it runs great.

I paid $500 for my first trike. It was a Yamaha 125 (2-stroke), with a 250r tank, and custom rear plastics with one of those big boxes on the back (sorry, forgot the name...havn't seen one of them in years).

It was in pretty nice shape, but one day I decided I was going to sell it. It was becoming a nusiance, and I would allways have problems with it. It also didn't have the power I was looking for(it had trouble going through water in second gear, while a 110 could go through it in 4th gear). So I tore it down and cleaned everything up to perfection.

Sold it for $650, then bought a Haro Shredder(BMX)...I was originally going to buy a 250R, but went stupid or something and bought a $650 bike(Allmost exactly $650 with the gloves and tax).

Anyways long story short, I wish I would have spent that money on another trike.
