What size rear tires U guys running on the 350X?

Just currious. I have 22X12X9's on mine right now. They are a little tall. I was thinking of a 20 or 21. I have a buddy that has a pretty decent set of 21X12X9 that I was thinking of going with. I know that stock was not quite as wide. What do you guys think and use?

I might add that I would like a little more throttle response I know the shorter tires will help with that.

got 20-12-9 on the rear of mine. It's a nice size for a good holeshot- and what do you know- that's even the brand of tires I've got! . (oh well, that was stupid, but I had to say it).

Cool. Could you tell any difference in the throttle response? Take much away from the top end?

Since I never it out and run top end for long periods of time, I was not concerned withit killing my top end speed. I ride mostly tight trails where if you run more than 40, you'll be hospitalized, so I was mostly concerned with accelleration. The shorter tire will take a couple mph off your top end, and while I hesitate to lable it as better "throttle response" , the shorter tires will the bike accellerate noticeably faster. It basically shortens your gears a little, and improves accelleration.

    Try some 20 inchers.

18 inch tires and you'll wheelie in every gear! Just kidding.

    I wouldn't go any bigger than 20's (stock on 250R, 400EX, 450R) I have 18's on my 250R and I love them.

My "Showgirl" came with the 20" Holeshots on it... after buying a set of OEM tires on OEM rims, I've taken them off and love the tall narrow tire that's stock. Went and bought a set of OEM tires from HONDA since that... mind you... not $600 like that guy on ebay's tyrying to sell them at! About $50 a piece.

The tires that should be on it are 23.5x12x9 I believe. They are a pain in the a** to find too.

Yeah, looks like im going to go with some 20x11x9 Razors. Man Rockymountain has some good prices on tires. Thanks for the tip. I had been buying tires from hyperparts. But RM is even cheaper than them on tires.
