    84 250r tank and seat

    Is the tank metal?
    and could i fit a 200x seat on there?( i think its a 84 or 85)

    and would a 85 250r seat work?

    The tank is metal, But you can get aftermarket plastic ones. The only seat that will fit is 83/84 ATC 250R, None others.

    did you mean you still need a tank? becuse i might know where a good shaped one is i could get my hands on at the local junk yard.....and they have a few seats there that need to be recoverd tho.

    I got the tank sitting here, looks to have been shot with a gun at the front but other then that, its really good shape with the factory decals, i will send the pic, and I sold my 83. and 84 to (thehickfarmer) I dont know if he is ever on here anymore, but you should buy both of those 250rs and then put 3 together and get one good one.

    I have both a 83/84 seat base and a tank.... let me know. Get yourself new foam and cover from www.hi-flite.com, and it'll be better than new!

    Yah, sorry I meant I found a tank, need a seat, thanks to Packhamstruck I have a tank now, and Bruce I might/maybe order that seat pan from you, dont know probably a xmas present!
