The ESR website address is www.esr250.com, but it's not working for me right now. Try picking up a dirtwheels mag, they always have a big ad in there.

blown331 where did you have to trim the skidplate, in the top or on the side?

You can go so much faster without punching the cyl out if your stock . I would start with a pipe. You will not want to use stock pipe if you end up with a 300 kit later . My bike is 1st over and im running my close to stock head and it scares the hell out of people who ride it .Just bolt on crap and porting.

I want to keep the bottom end as stock as possible so long rod is out of the question. Anyone have comments about the powervalve top ends vs. the CT kit? 265 vs. 310? I ride mostly dunes and desert; It's the only good thing about living in California I'm just looking for the fastest, most reliable set up. And it should be free on my birthday!
Have you ever heard anything about the 389cc polanda? using a polaris 400 topend on a 250r. I'll find the thread on my local board and post it. seems like it produced 60hp. Here's a shop that deal with them. http://www.mpracing.biz/

both company's have good performance, but if you want better quality, definetly go with anything from CT, i have seen cylynders from both company's and they both look good, but the big bore ESR stuff has a cheesy looking spacer, and some finishing touches arent quite as nice as the CT stuff. Also, CT has proven itself more than ESR with tons of titles and championships, and has a great track record for being very reliable.

I'm getting a lrd 310pv. It should be here in a few days. When it stops snowing here I'll let you know how it is. By the way, lrd used to make a killer pipe for 250r's and they have the molds, so give a call and maybe with enough pnone calls they will a few of them, also the same for a tri-z
