My SXs go through gas like it's candy at halloween. If I put a smaller carb on it will it help me get better mileage or is that just wishful thinking? Any help would be appreciated.
ive never had any gas problems with my sx thats wierd
thats weird they have a similar gas campacity as a 200x and my 200x goes along aways(well, not after I'm done with the ported head, cam, etc) you doing trails or open stuff? that could have a effect.
try gettin a dial-a-jet..theyre $60

I doubt I'm runnin rich because I have the air box cover off. That should make it leaner right? Anyway I'm gonna take the carb off and clean it today. It probably has some rust or other good stuff from the tank in it.Originally Posted by RideRed250R
I was just going to say that, the carb may be the problem. Good luck and ridereds rightm your 350 should take more than your sx

Clean it with brake parts cleaner it cleans good leaves no residue and it doesnt mess up all your carb gaskets like a carb cleaner does
