    200x front end question

I put a 83-85 200x front on my 81 250r. I had to buy an aftermarket fender because i didn't have one. I'm wondering why the bolt holes are so big. Are there special bolts that you use to attach the fender to the triple tree? Please help need to get riding again. Thank You

There are grommets that fit the holes then there are metal inserts that go inside the grommets. Thats why the holes look big.

I dont know where to get them other than a Honda dealer if you want them to fit right. I used a small flat blade screwdriver to install and remove them. Its not easy. Take your time and dont jab your fingers.

Try pushing the metal insert out of the gromet, then put the gromet in the fender hole, then put the metal insert back in the gromet. To take gromet out of fender just reverse these step's.
